The brake actuator unit furthermore has a strain sensor having a sensor element, which is arranged on an outer circumference of an axial section of the circumferential wall and is configured to detect a strain of the axial section in a circumferential direction. Moreover, a strain sensor for a brake actuator unit of this kind is provided. Furthermore, an electromechanical brake having a brake actuator unit of this kind and/or having a strain sensor of this kind is provided.
