The present invention relates to a charging control method of a railway vehicle storage battery and, more specifically, to a charging control method of a railway vehicle storage battery which controls a storage battery charging current by using an insulated gate bipolar mode transistor (IGBT), and charges a storage battery in an optimized manner. The charging control method of a railway vehicle storage battery including a battery management system comprises: (a) a step of applying an insulated gate bipolar mode transistor (IGBT) to a charging circuit of a storage battery to control the charging current of the storage battery; (b) a step in which a user inputs a constant-current charging signal or a quick-charging signal; (c) a step of detecting a potential difference between a charging voltage and a storage battery voltage; (d) a step of checking a prediction charging current resulting from charging resistance and the potential difference between the charging voltage and the storage battery voltage; and (e) a step of adjusting charging switch opening/closing time in accordance with charging start, a standard charging current criterion, and a quick-charging current criterion to finish charging.
본 발명은 철도차량 축전지 충전 제어방법에 관한 것으로, 상세하게는 절연 게이트 바이폴라 틀랜지스터(Insulated Gate Bipolar Mode Transistor ; 이하 'IGBT'라 함)를 이용하여 축전지 충전 전류를 제어하고, 축전지를 최적화된 방식으로 충전하는 철도차량 축전지 충전 제어방법에 관한 것이다. 구성은 배터리 관리 시스템을 포함하는 철도차량 축전지 충전 제어방법에 있어서, (a) 축전지의 충전 전류를 제어하기 위해 절연 게이트 바이폴라 트랜지스터(IGBT)를 축전지의 충전 회로에 적용하는 단계와; (b) 사용자가 정전류 충전 신호 또는 급속 충전 신호를 입력하는 단계와; (c) 충전 전압과 축전지 전압 간의 전위차를 검지하는 단계와; (d) 충전 전압과 축전지 전압 간의 전위차와 충전 저항에 따른 예상 충전 전류를 확인하는 단계와; (e) 충전시작 및 표준 충전 전류 기준과 급속 충전 전류 기준에 따른 충전 스위치 개폐시간을 조정하여 충전을 완료하는 단계; 를 포함하여 이루어진다.
