The present disclosure relates to a parking collision avoidance system of a vehicle and a control method thereof. The parking collision avoidance system of the vehicle may comprise: a sensing device configured to sense an obstacle around the vehicle; and a control device which obtains type information of the obstacle and an expected collision time point with the obstacle based on sensed data received from the sensing device, determines a braking start time point of a braking device based on the expected collision time point, and adjusts the braking start time point according to the type information. Provided are the parking collision avoidance system having a reduced malfunction frequency and the control method thereof.
본 개시는 차량의 주차 충돌 방지 시스템 및 이의 제어 방법에 관한 것이다. 차량의 주차 충돌 방지 시스템은, 차량 주변의 장애물을 감지하도록 구성된 감지 장치, 그리고 상기 감지 장치로부터 수신되는 감지 데이터에 기초해 상기 장애물의 타입 정보 및 상기 장애물과의 충돌 예상 시점을 획득하고, 상기 충돌 예상 시점에 기초해 제동 장치의 제동 개시 시점을 결정하며, 상기 타입 정보에 따라서 상기 제동 개시 시점을 조정하는 제어 장치를 포함할 수 있다.
