An objective of the present invention is to provide a drone-type air mobility capable of reducing the rotational speed of a mobility aircraft when excessive rotation occurs due to rotor failure and the like, and minimizing the impact applied to the aircraft during an emergency landing, and a control method thereof. Disclosed is a drone-type air mobility having a main body, a plurality of rotors, and a plurality of rotor arms connecting the main body and the plurality of rotors, respectively. The drone-type air mobility comprises: a plurality of air flaps respectively provided on the rotor arm and deployed to a lower portion of the rotor arm by gas injection; and a controller determining whether the rotor is abnormal based on the yaw rate of the mobility and state information of the rotor, and determining whether to deploy the air flaps according to a result of determining whether the rotor is abnormal.

    본체와 복수의 로터 및 상기 본체와 상기 복수의 로터를 각각 연결하는 복수의 로터 암을 갖는 드론 타입 항공 모빌리티로서, 상기 로터 암에 각각 구비되며 가스 주입에 의해 상기 로터 암의 하부로 전개되는 복수의 에어 플랩; 및 상기 모빌리티의 요 레이트 및 상기 로터의 상태 정보를 기반으로 상기 로터의 이상 여부를 판단하고 상기 로터의 이상 여부 판단 결과에 따라 상기 에어 플랩의 전개 여부를 결정하는 컨트롤러를 포함하는 드론 타입 항공 모빌리티가 개시된다.
