The present invention relates to a regenerative braking system. More specifically, the regenerative braking system includes: a forward vehicle recognition module installed in a vehicle to determine whether a forward vehicle exists and measure information about a relative distance and a relative speed with the forward vehicle; a vehicle sensor installed in the vehicle; and a control part, when the vehicle performs coasting in a state in which the forward vehicle is sensed by the forward vehicle recognition module, receiving information generated from the forward vehicle recognition module and a sensor signal generated from the vehicle sensor to generate reference deceleration to keep a distance from the forward vehicle within a safe distance range, and generating a driving torque command for outputting regenerative braking torque following the generated reference deceleration, to deliver the command to a driving system of the vehicle. Therefore, the present invention is capable of improving driving convenience by maximizing an APS and BPS input reduction effect.

    본 발명은 회생제동 시스템에 관한 것으로서, 보다 상세하게는, 자동차에 설치되어 전방차량의 유무를 판단하고 전방 차량과의 상대 거리 및 상대 속도의 정보를 측정하는 전방차량인식모듈과, 자동차에 설치된 차량센서와, 상기 전방차량인식모듈에 의하여 전방차량이 감지된 상태에서 자동차가 타력 주행을 할 경우, 상기 전방차량인식모듈로부터 생성되는 정보와 상기 차량센서로부터 생성되는 센서신호를 전달받아 전방차량과의 거리를 안전거리 이내로 유지할 수 있는 기준감속도를 생성하고, 생성된 기준감속도를 추종하는 회생제동토크를 출력하기 위한 구동토크명령어를 생성하여 차량의 구동계로 전달하는 제어부를 포함하여 구성되는 것을 특징으로 하는 회생제동 시스템에 관한 것이다.
