The present invention relates to a braking control method through estimation of a coasting deceleration rate. The braking control method comprises the following steps: estimating the coasting deceleration rate which is the deceleration rate during coasting of a subject vehicle according to a lockup state of a torque converter clutch by which a control portion receives the lockup state of the torque converter clutch from a transmission sensing portion; calculating a target deceleration rate for constant distance drive with a preceding vehicle based on the distance and the relative speed between the subject vehicle and the preceding vehicle from a front sensing portion; and outputting demand braking torque determined based on the target deceleration rate and the coasting deceleration rate and performing braking when the estimated deceleration rate is lower than the target deceleration rate.

    본 발명은 타력감속도 추정을 통한 제동 제어 방법에 관한 것으로서, 제어부가 변속기 감지부로부터 토크 컨버터 클러치의 락업(LockUp) 상태를 입력받아 상기 토크 컨버터 클러치의 락업 상태에 따른 타력감속도를 추정하는 단계로서, 상기 타력감속도는 자차량의 타력 주행 시의 감속도인 것인, 단계, 상기 제어부가 전방 감지부로부터 상기 자차량과 선행차량 간의 거리 및 상대 속도를 입력받아 상기 선행차량과의 정간격 주행을 위한 목표감속도를 산출하는 단계, 및 상기 추정된 타력감속도가 상기 목표감속도 미만인 경우, 상기 제어부가 상기 목표감속도 및 상기 타력감속도에 근거하여 결정되는 요구 제동 토크를 출력하여 제동을 수행하는 단계를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 한다.
