The present invention relates to a short-distance cutting-in vehicle determination apparatus, a determination method thereof, and a vehicle using the same which can prevent collisions and increase safety. The short-distance cutting-in vehicle determination apparatus comprises: an information generation unit to generate sensor fusion information, estimated vehicle state information, and risk determination information based on received surrounding vehicle information when the surrounding vehicle information is received; a feature combination generation unit to extract a plurality of features based on the sensor fusion information, the estimated vehicle state information, and the risk determination information and combine the extracted features to generate a plurality of feature combinations; a classification learning unit to classify the plurality of feature combinations in accordance with a weight factor to learn the plurality of feature combinations; and a vehicle intention determination unit to determine the intentions of a nearby vehicle based on classified and learned result values to select an optimal feature combination corresponding to short-distance cutting-in vehicle determination and determine a situation of a short-distance cutting-in vehicle based on the selected optimal feature combination.
근거리 끼어들기 차량 판단 장치 및 그의 판단 방법과 그를 이용하는 차량에 관한 것으로, 주변 차량 정보가 수신되면 수신된 주변 차량 정보를 토대로 센서 융합 정보, 추정된 차량 상태 정보, 그리고 위험도 판단 정보를 생성하는 정보 생성부와, 센서 융합 정보, 추정된 차량 상태 정보, 그리고 위험도 판단 정보를 토대로 다수의 특징(feature)들을 추출하고, 추출된 특징들을 조합(combination)하여 다수의 특징 조합(feature combination)들을 생성하는 특징 조합 생성부와, 다수의 특징 조합들을 가중치(weight factor)에 따라 분류하여 학습하는 분류 학습부와, 분류 학습된 결과값을 토대로 주변 차량의 의도(intention)를 판단하여 근거리 끼어들기 차량 판단에 상응하는 최적의 특징 조합을 선정하고, 선정된 최적의 특징 조합을 토대로 근거리 끼어들기 차량의 상황을 판단하는 차량 의도 판단부를 포함할 수 있다.
