An embodiment of the present invention relates to a vehicle control device or a device for preventing a rear collision, wherein after a rear emergency braking function is released by driver′s braking input in an operation such as reverse parking, a re-operation condition for performing the re-operation of the rear emergency braking function is optimally set based on operation of an engine, a vehicle moving speed after release of the rear emergency braking function, a vehicle moving distance, and a distance to an obstacle from an initial stop position after the release, so that driver convenience and stability can be secured.

    본 실시예는 차량 제어 장치 또는 후방 충돌 방지 장치에 관한 것으로서, 후진 주차 등의 동작에서 운전자의 제동 입력에 의하여 후방 긴급 제동 기능이 해제된 이후, 엔진 동작 여부, 후방 긴급제동 기능 해제 시점 이후의 차량 이동속도, 차량 이동거리, 해제 후 최초 정지위치에서의 장애물까지의 이격거리 등을 기초로 후방 긴급 제동 기능의 재동작을 수행하는 재동작 조건을 최적으로 설정함으로써, 운전자의 편의성과 안정성을 모두 확보할 수 있다.
