The invention provides a rear-collision avoiding device based on a Doppler speed measuring radar. The rear-collision avoiding device is low in cost and reliable in properties, can fully utilize the resources of an original vehicle, and has the characteristics of being low in development cost, simple in interfaces, easy to mount and debug and low in power consumption. The rear-collision avoiding device disclosed by the invention comprises a detecting unit and a control unit, wherein the detecting unit consists of a Doppler speed measuring radar, and the control unit consists of a processor and a CAN bus communicating interface of a whole vehicle; an output end of the detecting unit is connected with an input end of the processor, the processor is connected with the CAN bus communicating interface of the whole vehicle, and the Doppler speed measuring radar is arranged at the middle position of the rear part of the vehicle. According to the rear-collision avoiding device disclosed by the invention, the relative velocity between a coming vehicle and the vehicle in a set range behind the vehicle is measured through the Doppler speed measuring radar which is arranged at the middle position of the rear part of the vehicle and low in cost, the speed of the vehicle can be obtained cooperating with the processor through CAN bus communications, a pre-alarm function for various collisions can be realized, and then an acousto-optic system of the original vehicle is connected through the CAN bus communications, so that the alarm is realized, and the active safety is improved.
