The present invention provides an engine for a vessel, capable of reducing pressure deviation generated between cylinders in accordance with a load of the engine, and a method for controlling an engine of a vessel. According to the present invention, the method for controlling an engine of a vessel includes: a step of measuring the pressure of each of the multiple cylinders; a step of calculating the pressure deviation based on the measured pressure by the each cylinder; and a step of compensating the calculated pressure deviation by the each cylinder.

    본 발명은 복수개의 실린더 각각의 압력을 측정하는 단계, 상기 측정한 실린더별 압력들로부터 압력 편차를 계산하는 단계, 및 상기 계산된 압력 편차를 실린더별로 보상하는 단계를 포함하는 선박용 엔진 및 선박용 엔진 제어방법에 관한 것이다.
