According to the present invention, the method for predicting a traffic influence area due to a specific event by a road operator comprises the steps of: acquiring an actual measurement value of a previous event from a traffic history database; calculating a normal measurement value from the traffic history database; and calculating a normal prediction value from the traffic history database. When a mean absolute percent error (MAPE) derived from a value (actual measurement value of the previous event - normal prediction value) is defined as M1, an MAPE derived from a value (normal measurement value - normal prediction value) is defined as M2, and (M1 - M2) is equal to or greater than 10, it is determined that an influence caused by an event exists.
특정행사에 의한 교통영향권의 예측방법이 개시된다. 본 발명에 의한 특정행사에 의한 교통영향권의 예측방법은 도로운영자가 특정행사에 의한 교통영향권을 예측하는 방법에 있어서, 교통이력 데이터베이스로부터 직전 행사시의 실측값을 획득하는 단계, 상기 교통이력 데이터베이스로부터 평시의 실측값을 연산하는 단계, 상기 교통이력 데이터베이스로부터 평시의 예측값을 연산하는 단계를 포함하며, 상기 (직전 행사시의 실측값 - 평시 예측값)로부터 도출된 평균절대백분비오차(MAPE)를 M1이라 하고, 상기 (평시의 실측값 - 평시 예측값)로부터 도출된 평균절대백분비오차(MAPE)를 M2라고 할 때, (M1 - M2)가 10이상인 경우 행사에 의한 영향이 있는 것으로 판정하는 것을 특징으로 한다.
