A method for controlling the start of a fuel cell vehicle is disclosed. The method includes a step of allowing a control part to supply hydrogen and air to a fuel cell to perform a constant voltage control so that the voltage on a high voltage bus end side of a converter provided between a high voltage battery and a high voltage bus end connected to the output end of the fuel cell can be a predetermined lowest control voltage; a step of allowing the control part to set the charge current of the high voltage battery to a charge limiting current; a step of allowing the control part to control the supply amount of the air and the converter to provide a current corresponding to the magnitude of the charge limiting current to the high voltage battery; and a step of allowing the control part to change the charge limiting current based on a result of comparing a sensing charging current sensing the current inputted to the high voltage battery with the charging limiting current. It is possible to secure quick startability.

    제어부에서, 연료전지에 수소와 공기를 공급하여, 상기 연료전지의 출력단이 연결된 고전압버스단과 고전압 배터리 사이에 마련된 컨버터의 상기 고전압 버스단 측 전압이 사전 설정된 최저 제어전압이 되도록 정전압 제어하는 단계; 상기 제어부에서, 상기 고전압 배터리의 충전전류를 충전제한전류로 설정하는 단계; 상기 제어부에서, 상기 공기의 공급량 및 상기 컨버터를 제어하여 상기 충전제한전류의 크기에 대응되는 전류를 상기 고전압 배터리로 제공하는 단계; 및 상기 제어부에서, 상기 고전압 배터리로 입력되는 전류를 센싱한 센싱충전전류와 상기 충전제한전류를 비교한 결과에 기반하여 상기 충전제한전류를 변경하는 단계를 포함하는 연료전지 차량의 시동 제어방법이 개시된다.
