Disclosed is a manufacturing method for a bumper back beam of a vehicle. The manufacturing method comprises: a first pressing step of processing to form a plate strip through a press processing, a planar portion along a longitudinal direction on a central portion, recessed portions protruding downwards along a longitudinal direction on both outer sides of the planar portion, and first flat flanges on outer ends of the recessed portions; a second pressing step of bending the recessed portions on both sides of the bent boundary between the planar portion and the recessed portions upwards to allow flanges on both sides to face an upper surface of the planar portion; and a welding step of welding both ends of the flanges facing the upper surface of the planar portion to allow a back beam to have a pair of closed ends through the planar portion and the recessed portions on both sides. The present invention provides a manufacturing method of reducing a number of components to reduce a number of welding operations, and enhancing a strength of the welds using a hot forming method when manufacturing a bumper having a closed end shape.

    판상의 스트립을 프레스가공을 통하여 성형하며, 중앙부에 길이방향을 따라 평면부가 형성되고 평면부의 양 외측에는 각각 길이방향을 따라 하방으로 돌출된 오목부가 형성되며 오목부의 외측단에는 평면 형상의 제1플랜지가 성형되도록 가공하는 제1프레스단계; 평면부와 오목부 사이의 절곡된 경계를 중심으로 양측의 오목부를 상방으로 밴딩하여 양측의 플랜지가 평면부의 상면에 면접하도록 가공하는 제2프레스단계; 및 평면부의 상면에 접한 플랜지의 양 단을 평면부에 용접함으로써 평면부와 양측의 오목부를 통하여 백빔이 한 쌍의 폐단면을 갖도록 하는 용접단계;를 포함하는 차량용 범퍼 백빔의 제조방법이 소개된다.
