The present invention relates to a road friction coefficient measurement device, and a road friction coefficient measurement method. More specifically, the road friction coefficient measurement device can accurately estimate a road friction coefficient using a force sensor mounted in a tire. Such that, the present invention provides the road friction coefficient measurement method, and the road friction coefficient measurement device comprising: the force sensor measuring strain of the tire; a force convertor converting the strain of the tire into a vertical load of front and rear wheels or left and right wheels; a slip rate measurement unit measuring a slip rate during traveling of a vehicle; and a control unit estimating the road friction coefficient based on the slip rate and the vertical load strain of the front and rear wheels or the left and right wheels.

    본 발명은 노면마찰계수 측정 장치 및 방법에 관한 것으로서, 더욱 상세하게는 타이어에 장착된 힘 센서를 이용하여 노면마찰계수를 정확하게 추정할 수 있도록 한 노면마찰계수 측정 장치 및 방법에 관한 것이다. 즉, 본 발명은 타이어의 변형량을 측정하는 힘 센서와; 타이어 변형량을 전후륜 또는 좌우륜의 수직하중으로 변환하는 힘 변환기와; 차량의 주행 중 슬립율을 측정하는 슬립율 측정부와; 전후륜 또는 좌우륜의 수직하중 변동량 및 슬립율을 기반으로 노면마찰계수를 추정하는 제어부; 를 포함하여 구성된 것을 특징으로 하는 노면마찰계수 측정 장치 및 방법을 제공한다.
