The present invention relates to a method and an apparatus for detecting a lane, further accurately estimating a lane and recognizing a front/rear lane in comparison with a conventional technique that depends on a method that combines vehicle information such as camera image information, deviation speed/heading information or the like in case of a sudden change of characteristics of a road such as a junction or an interchange, thereby more accurately performing the process of determining the degree of danger to achieve a lane maintaining autonomous drive, a lane changing autonomous drive or the like in a lane-based autonomous drive system. The apparatus for detecting a lane comprises: a front lane detection part; a movement distance estimation part; a rear lane estimation part; and a lane information providing part.

    본 발명은 카메라 영상정보와 자차 속도/헤딩 정보 등 차량정보 융합 방식에 따라 합류점이나 분기점과 같이 도로가 특성이 갑자기 변하는 경우 등에 있어서 종래 보다 차선을 더 정확하게 추정할 수 있으며, 전방/후방 차선을 더 정확하게 인지할 수 있기 때문에 차후 차선 기반 자율 주행 시스템에서 차선 유지 자율주행, 차선 변경 자율 주행 등을 위하여 위험도 판단 등에서 좀 더 정확한 처리가 가능하게 하는 차선 감지 방법 및 장치에 관한 것이다.
