An easily recognized traffic light according to the present invention comprises: a prop installed on a road; a case combined with the upper part of the prop; and a light-emitting display part in the shape of an oblong installed inside the case, wherein the light-emitting display part displays a signal on the whole light-emitting display part. Therefore, the color of the traffic light can be recognized easily when a vehicle driver sees the traffic light at a long distance or when a large vehicle is ahead during vehicle drive as a signal-indicating color is emitted from the whole area of the light-emitting display part so that the emitted color can look as if the emitted color formed a rectangular signal screen to be projected on a certain area. Also, a beautiful aesthetic effect can be obtained by expressing a color in the shape of a horizontal and oblong signal screen or a color in the shape of a vertically formed oblong signal screen.

    본 발명에 따른 신호식별이 용이한 신호등은 도로에 설치되는 지주; 지주의 상부에 결합되는 케이스; 및 케이스 내부에 설치되는 장방형의 발광표시부;를 포함하고, 발광표시부는 신호를 발광표시부 전체에 나타내는 것을 특징으로 한다. 따라서, 발광표시부의 전체 면적에서 신호를 나타내는 색깔이 발광되도록 하여, 발광되는 색깔이 일정면적에 투영되도록 직사각형의 신호막을 형성하는 것처럼 보이게 함으로써, 차량운전자가 원거리에서 신호등을 보았을 때나 차량 운행시 전방에 대형차량 등이 있는 경우 신호등의 색깔을 인지하기가 용이하다. 또한, 수평형태의 장방형의 신호막의 형상을 띄는 색깔 또는 수직형태로 형성되는 장방형의 신호막의 형상을 띄는 색깔을 나타냄으로써, 아름다운 미적효과를 얻을 수 있다.
