The present invention relates to a driving load detection system and a method thereof and, more specifically, to a system and a method, detecting noise as an acoustic load generated inside a vehicle. A driving load detection system comprises: a noise measuring unit measuring a noise level generated around a driver in each predetermined frequency band inside an audio frequency band; a noise level calculation unit calculating a noise level which a driver perceives in consideration of a human hearing characteristic against a noise level measured in each frequency band and by assigning a predetermined weighted value in each frequency band; and a warning transmission unit generating warning information in case the noise level is greater than a predetermined threshold value.

    본 발명은 운전 부하 감지 시스템 및 그 방법에 관한 것으로, 구체적으로 차량 내부에서 발생하는 청각부하인 소음을 감지하는 시스템 및 그 방법에 관한 것으로서, 운전자 주변에서 발생하는 소음 레벨(dB)을 가청 주파수 대역 내에서 기 설정된 주파수 대역별로 측정하는 소음 측정부, 상기 주파수 대역 별로 측정된 소음 레벨에 인간의 청감 특성을 고려하여 주파수 대역 별로 기 설정된 가중치를 부여하여 상기 운전자가 인지하는 소음 수준을 계산하는 소음 수준 연산부 및 상기 소음 수준이 기 설정된 임계 값 이상인 경우, 경고 정보를 생성하는 경고 전달부를 포함한다.
