The present invention relates to a device for estimating road surfaces using a sound wave signal and a method thereof, and more specifically, to a device and method for estimating a road surface type using a sound wave signal, which transmit the sound wave signal to receive the reflected signal, perform convolution on the received signal for a preset time using an artificial neural network multiple times, learning the artificial neural network to estimate the type of the corresponding road surface. Therefore, the type of road surface can be determined with high accuracy through a simple configuration.
본 발명은 음파를 이용한 노면 종류 추정 장치 및 그 방법에 관한 것으로서, 더욱 상세하게는 음파 신호를 송신하여 반사된 신호를 수신하고, 수신한 신호의 기설정 시간 동안의 신호에 대하여 인공신경망을 이용하여 컨볼루션을 다회 수행하고 학습시켜 해당 노면의 종류를 추정하도록 하는 음파를 이용한 노면 종류 추정 장치 및 그 방법을 제공한다.
