The present invention relates to a device and method for estimating a road surface type using domain conversion of sound waves, and more specifically, to a device and method for estimating a road surface type using domain conversion of sound waves, which transmits a sound wave signal, receives a reflected signal, performs frequency domain conversion on a preset area of the received signal, and learns the frequency domain signal obtained by using an artificial neural network to estimate the type of the corresponding road surface.

    본 발명은 음파의 도메인 변환을 이용한 노면 종류 추정 장치 및 그 방법에 관한 것으로서, 더욱 상세하게는 음파 신호를 송신하여 반사된 신호를 수신하고, 수신한 신호의 기설정 영역에 대하여 주파수 도메인 변환을 수행하여 얻은 주파수 도메인 신호를 인공신경망을 이용하여 학습시켜 해당 노면의 종류를 추정하도록 하는 음파의 도메인 변환을 이용한 노면 종류 추정 장치 및 그 방법을 제공한다.
