The present invention provides a ship engine failure detection method and system. The ship engine failure detection method according to the present invention includes: a first step of collecting operation data of a ship, identifying invalid data irrelevant to ship operation and valid data related to ship operation, and extracting and storing the valid data; a second step of identifying, extracting, and storing normal-state operation data when the ship operation is in a normal state and abnormal-state operation data when the ship operation is in an abnormal state among the valid data; and a third step of forming an artificial neural network that determines whether each device that outputs the operation data has a failure by learning the normal state from the normal-state operation data and the abnormal state from the abnormal-state operation data. According to the ship engine failure detection method and system, failure states of a ship engine are learned from operation data and data is accumulated, so that an actual failure can be detected from the learned contents, thereby improving the accuracy of failure detection.

    본 발명은 선박기관 고장검출 방법 및 시스템을 제공한다. 이와 같은 본 발명에 따른 선박기관 고장검출 방법은 선박의 운항데이터를 수집하여 선박 운전과 무관한 무효데이터와 선박 운전과 유관한 유효데이터를 식별하고, 유효데이터를 추출하여 저장하는 제1단계; 상기 유효데이터 중에서 선박운전이 정상상태인 때의 정상상태 운항데이터와 선박운전이 비정상상태인 때의 비정상상태 운항데이터를 식별, 추출하여 저장하는 제2단계; 상기 정상상태 운항데이터로 정상상태를, 상기 비정상상태 운항데이터로 비정상상태를 학습시켜, 운항데이터를 출력하는 각 기기의 고장 여부를 판단하는 인공신경망을 형성시키는 제3단계;를 포함하여 이루어지는 것을 특징으로 한다.
