The present invention relates to a low noise pneumatic tire, and more specifically, to a pneumatic tire provided with a sound absorption material attached to and installed on a carcass for reducing vibratory noises generated in a cavity part between a tread and a rim. The sound absorption material includes: a sound absorption layer formed with a thickness of 20-30 mm, more specifically, formed with the uniform thickness while attached across all the surface of the carcass exposed to the cavity of the tire; an adherence layer formed by applying an adhesive on one side surface of the sound absorption layer to be easily attached on the carcass; and a noise reduction layer formed by making rectangular protrusions with different heights protrude on all of the sound absorption layer, which is the other side surface of the adherence layer. According to the present invention, the sound absorption material is attached across all the inside of the tire by the adhesive and the rectangular protrusions irregularly protruding on the sound absorption material distribute and reduce noise of vibration waveform when noises caused by friction with the surface of a road are transferred to the inside of the tire through the tread, thereby enhancing silence and ride comfort of a vehicle.

    본 발명은 저소음 공기입 타이어에 관한 것으로, 트레드와 림 사이의 공동부에서 발생하는 진동 소음을 감소시키기 위하여 카카스에 부착 설치되는 흡음재를 구비하여 이루어지는 공기입 타이어에 있어서, 상기 흡음재는, 20~30mm 두께로 형성되되, 타이어의 공동부에 노출되는 카카스 전체 표면에 걸쳐 부착되면서 일정 두께로 형성되는 흡음층과; 상기 흡음층의 일 측면에 카카스에 용이하게 부착할 수 있도록 접착제를 도포시켜 형성되는 접착층과, 상기 접착층의 타 측 표면인 흡음층 전체에 높이 차를 두고 사각돌기들을 돌출시켜 형성되는 소음 저감층을 포함하여 이루어지는 것으로, 타이어의 내부 전체에 걸쳐 흡음재가 접착제로 부착되고 흡음재 상에 불규칙하게 돌출된 사각돌기들이 트레드를 통해 타이어 내부로 노면과의 마찰 소음이 전달될 때 진동파형 소음을 분산시키고 감소시킴으로써, 차량의 정숙성과 승차감이 향상되도록 하는 효과가 있다.
