The present invention relates to a method to control torque reduction of a hybrid vehicle comprising a motor and an engine, the method which is able to reduce or prevent abnormal engine noise and maintain an SOC of the battery at the same time. According to the present invention, the method to control torque reduction of a hybrid vehicle comprises: a step where a controller determines a discharge torque control factor and a charge torque control factor of a motor based on a current state of charge (SOC) and a reference SOC of a battery which supplies power to the motor; a step where the controller calculates the torque of the motor corresponding to a request for a reduction of driving torque of a traction control system (TCS) based on a discharge limit torque of the motor reflecting the discharge torque control factor and a charge limit torque of the motor reflecting the charge torque control factor; and a step where the controller calculates the torque of an engine corresponding to a request for a reduction of driving torque based on the calculated torque of the motor and a demanded torque of the TCS. A target SOC included in a reference SOC is to prevent abnormal noise in the engine, which is generated when the battery is being charged, and to maintain the SOC of the battery.

    모터와 엔진을 동력원으로 포함하는 하이브리드 차량의 토크 저감 제어 방법은, 제어기가, 모터에 전력을 공급하는 배터리의 현재 SOC(state of charge)와 배터리의 기준 SOC에 근거하여 모터의 방전 토크 조절 인자 및 충전 토크 조절 인자를 결정하는 단계와, 제어기가, 방전 토크 조절 인자가 반영된 모터의 방전 제한 토크 및 충전 토크 조절 인자가 반영된 모터의 충전 제한 토크에 근거하여 트랙션 제어 시스템(TCS)의 구동 토크 저감 요청에 대응하는 모터의 토크를 계산하는 단계와, 제어기가, 상기 계산된 모터의 토크 및 TCS의 요구 토크에 근거하여 구동 토크 저감 요청에 대응하는 엔진의 토크를 계산하는 단계를 포함하며, 기준 SOC에 포함된 목표 SOC는 배터리가 충전될 때 발생되는 엔진의 이음을 방지하고 배터리의 SOC를 유지하기 위한 SOC이다.
