The present invention relates to a parking steering assist system using a slope degree of a road surface and a method thereof. More specifically, the present invention includes: a vehicle sensor configured to sense the acceleration and angular speed of a vehicle; a road surface slope degree determiner configured to determine the slope degree of the road surface using the acceleration and angular speed of the sensed vehicle; a steering assist controller configured to check the direction of the vehicle running on the road based on a position where the vehicle is parked, when the parking is complete, and to control a steering angle in accordance with the checked direction of the vehicle running on the road and the determined slope degree of the road surface; and a parking trace generator configured to generate a parking trace in accordance with the controlled steering angle. As such, the present invention can improve the stability of parking.
본 명세서는 노면 경사도를 이용한 주차 조향 보조 시스템 및 그 방법에 관한 것으로서, 더욱 상세하게는 차량의 가속도 및 각속도를 센싱하는 차량 센서부; 상기 센싱된 차량의 가속도 및 각속도를 이용하여 노면의 경사도를 판단하는 노면 경사도 판단부; 차량의 주차 위치를 기준으로 주차 완료시의 주행도로 방향을 확인하고, 상기 확인된 주행로 방향 및 상기 판단된 노면의 경사도에 따라 조향각을 제어하는 조향 보조 제어부; 및 상기 제어된 조향각에 따라 주차 궤적을 생성하는 주차 궤적 생성부를 포함한다.
