To provide a trolley wire with a built-in abrasion detection line which can restrain replacement life from deteriorating when overhead power line is provided in a section where inclined wear occurs.SOLUTION: A trolley wire 1 comprises: a trolley wire body 10 which includes two holes 14a, 14b for abrasion detection line which are provided on both sides of center line 18 in its inside; and two abrasion detection lines 20 which are stored in the two holes 14a, 14b for abrasion detection line. In cross section of a radial direction of the trolley wire body 10, the trolley wire is configured so that common circumscription line 15 of upper side of contour of the two holes 14a, 14b for abrasion detection line is larger than 1° from a width direction of the trolley wire body 10 and inclines at angle of 13°or less.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
