To provide a route prediction device capable of predicting a movement route of a mobile body.SOLUTION: Route candidate creation means 81 selects a target point being a point where it is assumed that a mobile body is located at a certain time, selects a movement candidate point being a point within a range in which the mobile body can move at the preceding and subsequent times with the certain time as the reference, and creates multiple route candidates that pass through the selected target point and movement candidate points. Route candidate selection means 82 selects a route candidate that most closely approximates a traffic at each point measured in the past from the created route candidates.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
