To provide an electrically-driven cylinder device as one example which can suppress leakage of fluid due to a pressure difference at low cost.SOLUTION: An electrically-driven cylinder device as one example comprises: a housing provided with a cylinder and a release chamber communicated with the outside; a piston movably arranged in the cylinder to partition the cylinder into a fluid chamber and an intermediate chamber; a rotating member arranged between the release chamber and the intermediate chamber, and rotating around a rotary shaft; and a direct-acting member that moves in a shaft direction along the rotary shaft in response to the rotation of the rotating member to press the piston. A first hole which extends in the shaft direction and into which a component is fitted and a second hole which extends in the shaft direction and which communicate the release chamber with the intermediate chamber are formed in the rotating member.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
