To suppress the sense of discomfort given to a driver in a hybrid vehicle which has an engine that can change the rotation speed according to the vehicle speed.SOLUTION: A PCM 60 sets the rotation speed of an engine 6 so as to be the rotation speed set in a rotation speed region to which the current rotation speed belongs in the multiple rotation speed regions set according to the vehicle speed and set to the mutually-different rotation speeds in the warmup operation for turning an exhaust catalyst 36 into the warmup state. The rotation speed set for each rotation speed region is set to be the higher rotation when the vehicle speed of a vehicle 1 is high in comparison to a case where the vehicle speed of the vehicle 1 is low. The vehicle speed of switching between the one rotation speed region and another rotation speed region in the time of deceleration is set to be lower in comparison to the vehicle speed of switching between the one rotation speed region and the other rotation speed region in the time of acceleration.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7

    【課題】車速に応じて回転数を切替可能なエンジンを有するハイブリッド車両において、運転者に違和感を与えにくくする。【解決手段】PCM60は、排気触媒36を暖機状態にするための暖機運転において、車速に応じて設定されかつそれぞれ異なる回転数に設定された複数の回転数領域のうち、現在の車速が属する回転数領域に設定された回転数となるように、エンジン6の回転数を設定する。各回転数領域に設定された回転数は、車両1の車速が高いときの方が、車両1の車速が低いときと比べて高回転に設定されており、減速運転時において一の回転数領域と他の回転数領域とを切り替える車速は、加速運転時において当該一の回転数領域と当該他の回転数領域とを切り替える車速と比較して低く設定されている。【選択図】図7
