To provide a vehicle automatic transmission control device capable of effectively warming up an engine by intentionally increasing a load of the engine through relatively simply control of an automatic transmission.SOLUTION: A vehicle automatic transmission control device comprises: a torque converter provided between an output shaft of an engine and an input shaft of an automatic transmission; and control means for controlling the automatic transmission. The automatic transmission has an engagement mechanism which includes at least either one or a plurality of clutches for switching engagement and disengagement between rotating elements or one or a plurality of brakes for switching engagement and disengagement between the rotating element and a stationary element. The control means performs stop time engine warming-up control for controlling the engagement and disengagement of the engagement mechanism when determining that a request is made for warming up an engine while a vehicle is stopped so that drive force is not transmitted to an output member and the input shaft is put into a fixed state.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 8
