To suppress shift shock at the time of synchronization after down-shift while ensuring the controllability of the input shaft rotation speed, upon carrying out down-shift with torque-up control of the engine during driven travel of a vehicle.SOLUTION: When the shift is manually operated to carry out M2 → M1 down-shift, the input shaft rotation speed Nin is increased via a lockup clutch that is in an engagement state (Plu command value is ON) at the time of torque-up control of an engine, and thus the controllability of the input shaft rotation speed Nin improves, which makes it possible to increase the input shaft rotation speed Nin quickly and carry out down-shift appropriately. Furthermore, the lockup clutch is released (Plu command value is OFF) before the input shaft rotation speed Nin reaches the first-range synchronous speed Nin1, and thereby the shift shock due to inertia or the like of the engine at the time of synchronization after down-shift is suppressed appropriately.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6

    【課題】車両の被駆動走行時にエンジンのトルクアップ制御を伴ってダウンシフトを行なう際に、入力軸回転速度の制御性を確保しつつダウンシフト後の同期時の変速ショックが抑制されるようにする。【解決手段】マニュアルシフト操作によるM2→M1ダウンシフトを行なう際に、エンジンのトルクアップ制御時に係合状態のロックアップクラッチ(Plu指令値がON)を介して入力軸回転速度Ninが上昇させられるため、入力軸回転速度Ninの制御性が向上し、速やかに入力軸回転速度Ninを上昇させて適切にダウンシフトを行なうことができる。また、入力軸回転速度Ninが1速同期回転速度Nin1に達する前にロックアップクラッチが解放される(Plu指令値がOFF)ため、ダウンシフト後の同期時のエンジンのイナーシャ等による変速ショックが適切に抑制される。【選択図】図6
