To provide a hybrid vehicle controller capable of improving fuel consumption even in a state where EV travel is restricted.SOLUTION: An HCU determines an operation area of a motor generator when an HEV travels so as to include an assist region and a power generation region on the basis of a charge state of a third power storage device. The HCU has the motor generator perform power running so as to assist an engine in the assist region, and controls the motor generator so as to perform regenerative power generation in a power generation region. The HCU expands the assist region, corrects an operation point of the engine, and performs control to perform HEV travel in the state where the EV travel is restricted. Alternately, the HCU contracts the power generation region, corrects the operation point of the engine and performs control to perform the HEV travel when the EV travel is restricted.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2

    【課題】EV走行が制限された状況であっても燃費を向上させることができるハイブリッド車両の制御装置を提供すること。【解決手段】HCUは、第3蓄電装置の充電状態に基づいて、アシスト領域と発電領域とを含むようにHEV走行時のモータジェネレータの動作領域を決定する。HCUは、アシスト領域ではエンジンをアシストするようにモータジェネレータを力行させ、発電領域ではモータジェネレータを回生発電させるように制御する。そして、HCUは、EV走行が制限される状態では、アシスト領域を拡大し、エンジンの動作点を補正し、HEV走行を行うように制御する。または、HCUは、EV走行が制限される状態では、発電領域を縮小し、エンジンの動作点を補正し、HEV走行を行うように制御する。【選択図】図2
