To provide a load swing suppression device capable of suppressing the increase of a calculation burden and suppressing a load swing, and a crane equipped with the same.SOLUTION: A swing suppression device 1 installed in a crane comprises: a monaural imaging unit 2 that can image a hook from above; a monaural image processing unit 11 that detects the amplitude and the direction of a pendulum motion by using a hook image captured by the monaural imaging unit 2; an attitude monitoring unit 12 that calculates the speed of a load swing occurring in a load suspended from the hook by using the amplitude and the direction detected by the monaural image processing unit 11; and an operation control unit 13 that controls at least one of an operation for derricking a boom, an operation for turning the boom, and an operation for contracting/elongating the boom so as to suppress the load swing by using the amplitude and the direction detected by the monaural image processing unit 11 and the speed of the load swing calculated by the attitude monitoring unit 12.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
