To provide an impact absorption member which can control a buckling starting point and a deformation direction to keep a load substantially constant even when a member is long.SOLUTION: An impact absorption member has: a first structure part which starts buckling with an impact received from a tip and deforms along an impact direction; a second structure part which is connected to the first structure part, has buckling strength higher than that of the first structure part, and deforms along the impact direction; and a third structure part which is connected to the second structure part, has buckling strength higher than that of the second structure part, and forms a non-impact end.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
