To allow a user to easily understand ship movement toward a new target position.SOLUTION: A sip 10 comprises a BCU 17 controlling the movement of the ship 10 and an MFD 18. The BCU 17 has a ship propulsion control system executing a fixed-point hold control. The BCU 17 implements a fine tuning so as to move the ship 10 to a new target point 38 when the new target point 38 is set during the execution of the fixed-point hold control. The MFD 18 displays a residual distance 40 to the new target point 38 from the ship 10 when the ship 10 moves to the new target point 38. The BCU 17 changes the thrust level while executing a fine tuning according to the moving state to the new target point 38 of the ship 10.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7
