To provide a detector grounding device that avoids an electrical shock accident by easily and surely detecting a separation line of a trolley wire without using expensive sensors and promoting a quick countermeasure.SOLUTION: A detector grounding device 1 is provided with: a grounding contactor 10 electrically connected between a trolley wire T and a rail R to open/close therebetween for grounding the trolley wire T on the rail R; and an electroscope 11 for detecting a voltage to ground of the trolley wire T, wherein the grounding contactor 10 is closed when the voltage is not applied to the trolley wire T by the electroscope 11 to enable grounding operation for railroad track construction to be performed. A separation line detector 9 is provided that includes: a pair of contact plates 4 disposed at intervals in an extension direction of the trolley wire T and in contact with the trolley wire T; and a resistance measurement device 19 for measuring electric resistance which is varied accompanying a contact failure or separation of the contact plates 4.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7
