【課題】掘削ユニットが接続された掘削船本体を回転させることで海底を掘削し、効果的に海底資源を回収可能な掘削船を提供する。【解決手段】筒状管21を右船11と左船12で挟持した状態で掘削体23を海底S2に当接させ、筒状管保持部にて掘削船本体10と筒状管21を固定後、掘削船本体10の回転スクリュー15により掘削ユニット20を中心に船体を回転させることで、掘削体23を回転させて海底S2の掘削を行い、掘削後のメタンガスGを資源回収ユニット26にて回収する手段を採る。【選択図】図1
