To accurately observe a traffic situation even at a position separated from the installation position of a radar device.SOLUTION: A detection data acquisition unit acquires detection data of vehicles traveling in an observation target area, the data detected by a radar device scanning the observation target area by a survey wave. When a first determination unit determines that counting timing is reached, a passing vehicle number counting unit counts, in a counting period immediately before the counting timing, the number of vehicles passing through a first line set in the observation target area, and the number of vehicles passing through a second line separated further from the radar device than the first line. A correction unit corrects the number of vehicles passing through the second line counted by the passing vehicle number counting unit by using the number of vehicles passing through the first line counted by the passing vehicle number counting unit.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4

    【課題】レーダ装置の設置位置から離れた位置であっても、交通状況を精度よく観測する。【解決手段】検知データ取得部が、レーダ装置が観測対象エリアを探査波で走査して検知した、観測対象エリアを走行している車両の検知データを取得する。第1判定部が計数タイミングであると判定すると、通過台数計数部が、この計数タイミングの直前の計数期間に、観測対象エリア内に設定した第1ラインを通過した車両の台数、および第1ラインよりもレーダ装置から離れた第2ラインを通過した車両の台数を計数する。補正部が、通過台数計数部によって計数された第2ラインを通過した車両の台数を、通過台数計数部によって計数された第1ラインを通過した車両の台数を用いて補正する。【選択図】図4
