To provide a side sill structure that can achieve high collision energy absorption characteristics with a small amount of collision deformation while suppressing an increase in weight due to a structural member.SOLUTION: A side sill structure includes a partition member 2 extending vertically through a closed cross-sectional space 3 within a side sill 1. In the side sill structure where the closed cross-sectional space 3 is partitioned by the partition member 2 into two closed cross-sectional spaces 3a, 3b in a vehicle width direction, an impact absorption structure A is provided, and the impact absorption structure includes: a pair of cross-sectional groove shaped members 4a, 4b connected to the partition member 2 in the closed cross-sectional spaces 3a, 3b with the partition member 2 sandwiched from both sides to form closed cross-sectional spaces 5a, 5b between the partition member 2 and each of the cross-sectional groove shaped members, and bulk heads 6 disposed in the closed cross-sectional spaces 5a, 5b along the vehicle width direction to partition the closed cross-sectional spaces 5a, 5b. The bulk heads 6 in the closed cross-sectional spaces 5a, 5b are disposed opposed to each other in the vehicle width direction with the partition member 2 interposed therebetween.     【課題】構造部材による重量増加を抑えつつ、少ない衝突変形量で高い衝突エネルギー吸収特性が得られるサイドシル構造を提供する。【解決手段】サイドシル1内の閉断面空間3を縦通する仕切部材2を備え、この仕切部材2により閉断面空間3が車両幅方向で2つの閉断面空間3a,3bに仕切られたサイドシル構造において、閉断面空間3a,3b内で、仕切部材2を両側から挟んだ状態で仕切部材2に接合され、仕切部材2との間でそれぞれ閉断面空間5a,5bを形成する1対の断面溝形部材4a,4bと、各閉断面空間5a,5b内に車両幅方向に沿って設けられることで閉断面空間5a,5bを仕切るバルクヘッド6とで構成される衝撃吸収構造体Aを有し、閉断面空間5a,5b内のバルクヘッド6は仕切部材2を挟んで車両幅方向で対向して設けられ、各バルクヘッド6は少なくとも断面溝形部材4a,4bに接合される。【選択図】図1
