To provide a rail maintenance work method that uses an acid aqueous solution for decomposing iron tannate to prevent idling and gliding of a wheel due to fallen leaves during traveling of a railway vehicle, and a maintenance work vehicle therefor.SOLUTION: A maintenance work vehicle provided with a first injection device and a second injection device at the front and rear of a rail cleaning device is caused to travel, the first injection device injects an acid aqueous solution for decomposing iron tannate over a rail vertex part, and after a predetermined period of time, the rail cleaning device scratches the rail vertex part to separate fallen leaves, and further, the second injection device injects a neutral or alkaline cleaning solution over the rail vertex part to perform cleaning.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1

    【課題】落葉による鉄道車両の走行時の車輪の空転や滑走について、タンニン鉄を分解する酸水溶液を用いて防止するレールの保守作業方法及びそのための保守作業車両の提供。【解決手段】レール清掃装置の前後に第1の噴射装置及び第2の噴射装置を設けた保守作業車両を走行させて、第1の噴射装置からタンニン鉄を分解する酸水溶液をレール頭頂部に散布し、所定時間後に、レール清掃装置でレール頭頂部を擦過し落葉を脱離させ、更に、第2の噴射装置からレール頭頂部に中性又はアルカリ性の洗浄液を散布して洗浄する。【選択図】図1
