To provide a ship rudder capable of improving ship fuel consumption.SOLUTION: A ship rudder 10 is the ship rudder 10 installed to be located behind a propulsion propeller 5. The ship rudder is formed in a streamline shape so that the leading edge in the travelling direction of a ship 1 is round and thick, and the trailing edge in the travelling direction is thin. The sip rudder comprises a rudder body 12 with a substantially rectangular shape in a side view, a leading edge rudder part 14 with a substantially cylindrical shape provided along the leading edge, and a trailing edge rudder part 16 with a substantially cylindrical shape provided along the trailing edge.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
