PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ship rudder that increases rudder normal pressure without making a rudder area larger, and can improve propulsion performance of a ship.SOLUTION: The ship rudder comprises: a rudder horn 12 which is fixed to a ship and extends downward; a rudder 14 which is attached to a rear part of the rudder horn 12, and steerable within a predetermined steering angle range (e.g., ±35°) about a steering shaft 15; and at least a pair of fins 16 which is attached to the rudder horn 12, positioned on both sides of the ship in a width direction with a gap, and extends in a vertical direction. The fins 16 are preferably in an airfoil shape, generates lift force F having a travel direction component, and suppress separation of flow in the rudder 14 within a steering angle range.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
