To provide a vibration characteristic evaluation method for a tire, which can accurately evaluate vibration characteristics of the tire.SOLUTION: This vibration characteristic evaluation method for the tire comprises: a preparation step S1 of preparing a tire 1 and a drum tester 2; a traveling step S2 of fitting the tire 1 to the drum tester 2 to travel; a measurement step S3 of measuring time-sequential data Y(t) of axial force 2 applied during riding of the tire 1 over a step 5; and an evaluation step S4 of evaluating vibration characteristics of the tire 1. The evaluation step S4 includes a first step S41 of frequency-analyzing the time-sequential data Y(t) of the axial force Y to calculate a unique angular frequency ω and an attenuation ratio ζ, a second step S42 of calculating vibration transmission characteristics H(t) of the tire 1, a third step S43 of inverse-convoluting the time-sequential data Y(t) of the axial force Y(t) to calculate time-sequential data X(t) of a force X applied on the tire 1; and a fourth step S44 of evaluating the vibration characteristics of the tire 1 on the basis of the time-sequential data X(t) of the force X.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1

    【課題】 タイヤの振動特性を短時間で正確に評価することができるタイヤの振動特性評価方法を提供する。【解決手段】 タイヤ1及びドラム試験機2を準備する準備工程S1と、タイヤ1をドラム試験機2に装着して走行させる走行工程S2と、タイヤ1が段差5を乗り越えるときに作用した軸力Yの時系列データY(t)を計測する計測工程S3と、タイヤ1の振動特性を評価する評価工程S4とを含んでいる。評価工程S4は、軸力Yの時系列データY(t)を周波数分析して固有角周波数ωと減衰比ζとを算出する第1工程S41と、タイヤ1の振動伝達特性H(t)を算出する第2工程S42と、軸力Yの時系列データY(t)を逆畳み込みすることで、タイヤ1に作用した力Xの時系列データX(t)を算出する第3工程S43と、力Xの時系列データX(t)に基づき、タイヤ1の振動特性を評価する第4工程S44とを含んでいる。【選択図】 図1
