To provide an autonomous travel method capable of improving workability by simplifying an operation, a work vehicle and an autonomous travel system.SOLUTION: A combine 1 comprises a control apparatus 50. The control apparatus 50 functions as an autonomous travel part 55 and a changeover part 57. The autonomous travel part 55 executes autonomous traveling of the combine 1 by an autonomous straight running operation. The changeover part 57 switches autonomous traveling of the combine 1 to manual traveling when a transition to an already reaped area from an unreaped area is detected during the execution of the autonomous traveling.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
