To reduce a processing load when positioning a pedestrian by using a camera image obtained by imaging a road surface on which the pedestrian walks.SOLUTION: A pedestrian terminal 1 comprises: a camera 11 which generates a step camera image and a pedestrian periphery camera image; a memory 17 which stores road surface registration information in which position information is associated with a road surface camera image of a registration point and fixed object registration information in which position information is associated with feature information of a fixed object in a periphery camera image obtained by imaging the periphery; and a processor 18. The processor executes temporary positioning of a pedestrian by using position information in the fixed object registration information by comparison between feature information of an object extracted from the pedestrian periphery camera image with feature information of the fixed object, collates each collation candidate image extracted from the road surface camera image with the step camera image on the basis of the result of the temporary positioning, and acquires position information of the registration point associated with the collation candidate image succeeded in collation as position information of a current place of the pedestrian.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 8

    【課題】歩行者が通行する路面を撮影したカメラ画像を用いて歩行者の測位を行う場合の処理負荷を軽減する。【解決手段】歩行者端末1は、足元カメラ画像および歩行者周囲カメラ画像を生成するカメラ11と、登録地点の路面カメラ画像にその位置情報をそれぞれ対応付けた路面登録情報、及び周辺を撮影した周辺カメラ画像中の定着物の特徴情報にその位置情報を対応づけた定着物登録情報を記憶するメモリ17と、プロセッサ18と、を備え、プロセッサは、歩行者周囲カメラ画像から抽出した物体の特徴情報と、定着物の特徴情報との比較により、定着物登録情報における位置情報を用いて歩行者の仮測位を実行し、仮測位の結果に基づき路面カメラ画像から抽出した各照合候補画像と、足元カメラ画像とをそれぞれ照合し、照合が成功した照合候補画像に対応付けられた登録地点の位置情報を、歩行者の現在地の位置情報として取得する。【選択図】図8
