To provide a rotor mechanism, a flying object, and a method for retracting the rotor mechanism that are capable of retracting the rotor mechanism during level flight.SOLUTION: Propeller blades 3 are used for a flying object 20, and the blade 3 is composed of an inner blade 4 on a propeller shaft 2 side and an outer blade 5 provided on an outer side of the inner blade, in which blade angles 23 of the inner blade and the outer blade formed with a rotation plane 22 of a propeller is made variable, respectively, and a suppression mechanism 6 is provided near a portion where the outer blade and the inner blade are adjacent to each other. The suppression mechanism suppresses an airflow 30 that flows around from a lower surface to an upper surface of the outer blade through a space between the outer blade and the inner blade.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
