To provide a rotor mechanism and a flying object, which can fold and unfold blades in a relatively fast airflow while having a blade control function of a helicopter.SOLUTION: A rotor mechanism 1 has a first blade 3a and a second blade 3b rotationally driven by a rotary drive mechanism 7, and is provided on a main body 20a of a flying object 20. The rotor mechanism includes: a position adjustment mechanism 12 for adjusting the first blade 3a and the second blade 3b to a predetermined stop position; a folding/unfolding mechanism 11 for folding and unfolding the first blade 3a and the second blade 3b so as to align them; and a control unit 13 for operating the position adjustment mechanism 12 or the folding/unfolding mechanism 11 when a predetermined flight condition 13a is satisfied.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
