To provide a pedestrian autonomous navigation system with which it is possible to acquire the high-accuracy position data of a pedestrian.SOLUTION: The pedestrian autonomous navigation system comprises: a pedestrian autonomous navigation sensor having an acceleration sensor, an angular velocity sensor and a geomagnetic sensor; an external sensor capable of detecting that a pedestrian carrying the pedestrian autonomous navigation sensor has passed by a specific point the position information of which is identified in advance; walking direction restriction means for restricting the passage direction of the pedestrian at the specific point; geomagnetic error calculation means for calculating a difference between the progression direction detected by the geomagnetic sensor when the pedestrian passed by the specific point and a restriction passage direction, passage in which direction is restricted by the walking direction restriction means, as an error of the geomagnetic sensor; and a position calculation means for calculating, upon receiving determination of the pedestrian having passed by the specific point, the position of the pedestrian from the position information of the specific point from the external sensor, the error calculated by the geomagnetic error calculation means, and information pertaining to a relative movement position from the pedestrian autonomous navigation sensor.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
