To inspect wind turbine generator facilities at a long distance, for example, on the sea with an unmanned aircraft which autonomously flies.SOLUTION: An inspection method for wind turbine generator facilities comprises the steps of: allowing an unmanned aircraft 10 to autonomously fly to over a wind turbine 40; determining, by the unmanned aircraft 10, the current azimuth of a nacelle 43 over the wind turbine 40; allowing the unmanned aircraft 10 to move to a position where the unmanned aircraft faces a hub 42 based upon the determined current azimuth of the nacelle 43; allowing the unmanned aircraft 10 to determine a current angle of rotation of a first blade 41A at the position where the unmanned aircraft faces the hub 42; allowing the unmanned aircraft 10 to move to an inspection start position of the first blade 41A based upon the determined current angle of rotation of the first blade 41A; and photographing, by a mounted camera, an inspection image of the first blade 41A while the unmanned aircraft 10 moves from the inspection start position along a lengthwise direction of the first blade 41A.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
