During a period from starting the entry of the train T into the track until finishing getting out from the track, the switching unit 25 sets a gap falling detection pattern AD to a train approach area which is an area proximate to the train-presence area among a plurality of falling person monitoring areas AF1 to AF10 and sets a track falling detection pattern AR to a train separation area which is an area other than the train approach area among the plurality of falling person monitoring areas AF1 to AF10.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
