To provide a self-traveling robot capable of easily transporting an article even when the article is small compared to a distance between first links provided at the most base end sides respectively of a pair of robot arms.SOLUTION: A self-traveling robot includes: a traveling carriage; a base part provided at an upper part of the traveling carriage, and capable of revolving about a first rotary shaft extending in a vertical direction; and a pair of robot arms whose base ends are each connected to the base part. The pair of robot arms each includes: a first link; and a second link whose base end is connected to a tip of the first link via a joint part. The base ends of the pair of first links are connected to the base part so as to be coaxially rotatable about a second rotary shaft extending in a horizontal direction, and so as to be opposed via the base part. The base ends of the pair of second links are side parts of the tips of corresponding first links, and are connected to sides opposed by the pair of first links.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5A
