To provide a column travel system capable of moving each of multiple moving bodies without retreating from a place where a U-turn is not possible such as a dead end while maintaining the column relation.SOLUTION: The column travel system for allowing multiple moving bodies 10A-10D to travel in line includes: multiple moving bodies 10A-10D capable of spin turn; and a control unit 30 that controls the traveling of the multiple moving bodies. The control unit 30 controls each of the multiple moving bodies 10A-10D in the column to stop with a distance in a state that the multiple moving bodies 10A-10D can perform a 180 degree spin turn between the moving bodies when stopping the multiple moving bodies 10A-10D.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6D
